Auburn Area March Calendar of Events

Auburn Public Library

Baby Time – Tuesdays at 10AM & 1PM for ages birth  - 18 months

Toddler Time – Wednesdays at 10AM & 1PM for ages 18 months – 3 years

Preschool Time – Thursdays at 10AM & 1PM for preschoolers ages 3 – 5 years

Family Storytime – Sunday, March 22nd at 4PM. Bring the whole family for a special celebration of Spring on the library lawn. Please bring a blanket to sit on, and join us for stories, songs, parachute games & fun for everyone. (In the event of rain, the event will be relocated inside)

Spectrum Storytime – Thursday, March 19th at 7PM and Saturday March 21st at 10AM.

Spectrum Storytime is an educational and interactive program designed for children with sensory integration challenges. For cognitive ages 4 – 7. Please note that registration is required. For more information or to register, please call Youth Services at 334-501-3196

Other Youth Services Activities Programs

Spring Break @ Library – Thursday March 26th from 6:30PM to 8:30PM for ages 13 – 18. Join them for beach volleyball, horseshoes, water relays, limbo and lots of beach – themed fun!

Legomania – Join them every Saturday from 9AM – 4PM for “free play” with Legos®

ESL/ELL Homework Help – Tuesdays March 17th & 31st from 4PM  - 5:30PM for grades K – 12. No appointment necessary.

 March 28th: Celebrate Responsible Dog Ownership at Bark in the Park – Calling all dog lovers! Auburn Parks & Rec will host “Bark in the Park”, celebrating responsible dog ownership, on Saturday March 28th from 9AM – 2PM at Kiesel Park. This FREE community event is open to all dog owners and their favorite four-legged friends. Visit a variety of educational booths, show with local pet vendors, enjoy dog related arts and crafts projects, sign your dog up for Doggie Olympics, enjoy a children’s interactive storyteller and much more!

 Applications Now Available…SummerNight Downtown Art Walk: Join the City of Auburn, Auburn Arts Association and Downtown Auburn Merchants for the SummerNight Downtown Art Walk on Friday, June 12th 6 – 9:30PM in downtown Auburn. This FREE community event features live music and artwork from area artists on display throughout downtown. Area artists, downtown businesses and restaurants are encouraged to participate. Applications are available online at and are due by June 8th. In cast of rain join us Saturday, June 14th from 6 – 9:30PM.
