Auburn AL Community Events for Fall

Auburn Tree Commission to Host Public Forum - The Auburn Tree Commission will host a public form on Tuesday, October 21st at 6PM at the Harris Center. Member of the Tree Commission will present on urban trees; benefits and risks, tree healther, proper trees for planting, and trees and power lines before opening the forum up for discussion from the public. Citizens are encouraged to attend. 

Downtown Trick or Treat - Auburn Parks and Recreation and the Auburn Downtown Merchants will partner for the 14th annual downtown trick or treat on Friday, October 31st from 6 - 8 PM. This is a FREE Auburn community event features candy and giveaways - courtesy of downtown merchants, live music and children's activities. Downtown Trick or Treat offers children 12 years and younger an excellent alternative to door - to - door trick or treating. Children must be accompanied by an adult and all times. Downtown streets will be closed during the event. 

Polar Express Holiday Celebration Tickets on Sale - All aboard the Polar Express! Auburn Parks and Recreation and the Auburn Arts Association will host the 8th Annual Polar Express Holiday Celebration on Saturday, Dec. 6th at 10AM - 1PM at the Jan Dempsey Community Arts Center. Children ages 12 and under are invited to this festive holiday event featuring arts and crafts and sweets and treats. Tickets will be on sale Wednesday and Thursday Nov. 5th and 6th from 9AM - 4PM at the Arts Center. Tickets are $10 for children 3 & up. Children under 2 are Free! All children 6 and under must be accompanied by an adult ticket holder. 

Holiday Art Sale Applications NOW Available - The Auburn Arts Association and Auburn Parks and Recreation are currently recruiting artists for the 8th Annual Holiday Art Sale on Saturday, December 13th from 9AM - 4PM at the Jan Dempsey Community Arts Center and Harris Center. This fun, festive and FREE shopping exprience offers handmade works by local artists just in time for your Christmas shopping!
