Prior to affiliating with WEICHERT, REALTORS® on May 1, 2008, Porter Properties, LLC (PPLLC) and related companies have been serving the Opelika Auburn realty community for over 30 years. Founded in 1976 by Howard J Porter, Jr., the firm and its predecessors originally concentrated on commercial and light industrial property development, local Auburn realty brokerage and property management.
In late 2000 the firm's focus was expanded to include development, acquisition, and management of multi-family properties, development of climate-controlled self-storage properties, and leasing/management of local retail Auburn realty properties. In 2004 the company moved into the single-family property sales market, concentrating on development and sales of local condominium projects.
Porter Properties continues to specialize in residential and commercial property management, leasing and development. WEICHERT, REALTORS® - Porter Properties is one of more than 330 real estate property companies in 36 states that have joined the Weichert network since January 2002.
