John Cope receives SFR designation from the National Association of REALTORS®

Auburn, AL, 01/20/10 -WEICHERT, REALTORS® - Porter Properties real estate agent, John Cope, has earned the nationally recognized Short Sales and Foreclosure Resource (SFR) designation. The National Association of REALTORS® (NAR) offers the SFR certification to Auburn AL REALTORS® who want to help both buyers and sellers navigate these complicated transactions, as demand for professional expertise with distressed sales grows in the Auburn AL area.

Martha Shepherd receives GRI designation

Auburn AL - The Alabama Association of REALTORS® is pleased to announce that two of its members, Carole Harrison and Martha Shepherd from Auburn AL, recently completed all required criteria for the GRI (Graduate REALTOR® Institute) designation.

When a REALTOR® member completes all fifteen GRI modules, plus a course from the National Association of REALTORS® on the Code of Ethics, and the state required Post License course, they will receive their GRI designation. GRI designees are an elite group of real estate professionals, less than 15% of all members of the REALTOR® organization are GRIs.
